Trust me, there's actually two sets of dueling Les Paul solos

that's right, four Les Pauls, two different solos, it blew my mind a little

thanks shortcut, pass the link around. I take the paranoid android comment as a high complement; OK Computer is probably my favourite album of all time, on both a creative and technical level. It was actually my reference mix while recording the EP (sometimes when you're mixing, your ears get so fatigued everything becomes a blur, keeping a similar CD in the tray is a good way to freshen your ears up. I was shooting high with OK computer, and was bound to fall short, but one can dream )

Well you ripped off the bridge for Paranoid Android on that song for sure!

In fact if you slow your song down a little, it would match almost perfectly....

That passage was the only part of the whole album that worried me, and your reaction that it's a 'rip-off' is a shame, as I was thinking of cutting that whole progression to avoid your very reaction. Although I wouldn't personally call vocalizing a minor-key progression and adding a harmony 'ripping off', I immediately heard the similarity.

Well I mean I'd put that one short section in the general category of "rip-off," but I didn't necessarily mean it in a bad way. Your album has an OK Computer-esque feel (especially with your Thom Yorke voice), but as I said in the first post, it feels somewhat more like a "tribute nod" rather than than any direct copying attempt.

I like it.

Naa it's cool, I know what you mean

And if there's one album I'm happy to pay tribute to...
