That's not making sense to me. If the combined albums are bigger than the iPod's buffer, wouldn't that hurt battery life before it helped it?

1- The Beatles- The Word.
2- The Beatles- Maxwell's Silver Hammer
3- Alice in Chains, We Die Young
4- The Beatles- Can't buy me love
5- How the Grinch Stole Christmas- Welcome Cristmas (Reprise)

6- Rage against the Machine- Nookie
7- The Beatles- Only a northern Song
8- Starwars - Parade of the Eworks
9- Puddle of Mudd - Bring Me Down
10- Invader ZIM - In the Beginning

Taken from 3595 songs, 15.9 days, 20.33 GB.

I'm not sure why iTunes was so enamored with The Beatles today.. They're a great band, but they don't make up that represenative sample of my collection!

I hate you people. All of you.

Every time one of these threads comes up I lose at least a full days productivity since I have to go thru each post and download the songs that either sound good or I'd forgotten about.

Mine:

Return of The Grevious Angel.......Ryan Adams with Gillian Welch
Light And Day...................................Polyphonic Spree
Keep Hope Alive...............................The Crystal Method
Must Increase My Bust.....................Lords of Acid
Baba O'Riley (live).............................Guided By Voices
Miss World (Hole cover)..................Afghan Whigs
Little Fluffy Clouds..........................The Orb
(Come) On Feel the Noise...............Bran Van 3000
Hyperballad (Bjork cover)...............The Twilight Singers
Damaged (first time ever live)........Plumb (personal board tape, tour '98)

this list is a little heavier on the local acts (Guided by Voices, Afghan Whigs, Twilight Singers) then the overall collection is. my OLD collection was even more eclectic, extremely heavy on the live covers and of course my personal recordings from my touring days. then I accidentally deleted about 10 gigs of that stuff a few months ago. oops. only back up to about 4.5 gigs now.

7- Hypnotise - The White Stripes
8- First...And Then - Handsome Boy Modeling School
9- Return of the G - Outkast
10- Wack Parties - Porn Theatre Ushers

My iTunes library has 903 songs, 2.2 days, 3 GB and counting

I actually have a lot of rock and alternative songs too, but hip-hop got the luck of the draw I guess.

There's something wrong about mixing classical music with modern in a shuffle.

I'm not sure my brain could handle Hit 'Em Up by 2Pac followed by a random track from Lucia di Lammermoor.

I keep my classical, opera and audiobooks seperate.

"We" toured? Were you part of the band? Awesome!

I am quite the fan of Plumb's music. I was afraid when the lead singer got married and then had her child she would give up her music career.

I sent you a PM.

I rarely ever listen on shuffle, so this will be an interesting experiment...

1) David Bowie - The Man Who Sold The World - Live at Madison Square Garden - 09 January 1997
2) The Smiths - There Is A Light That Never Goes Out - Live at Laguna Hills Amphitheater - 28 August 1986
3) Mojave 3 - Mercy - Live on Black Session - 11 November 1995
4) Swollen Members - Steppin' Thru - Monsters In The Closet
5) Portishead - Strangers - Dummy

6) Weezer - Peace and Quiet - Live in Tulsa - 09 September 2000
7) The Clash - Somebody Got Murdered - Live at US Festival - 29 May 1983
8) Kraftwerk - The Robots - Liveat Tribal Gathering - 1997
9) The Cardigans - Communication - Long Gone Before Daylight
10) The Cure - 10:15 Saturday Night - Live at Glastonbury - 23 June 1990

Uh... yeah... I like the "bootlegs". In fact, of the 2417 songs (8:00:19:22 / 19.34GB) in my iTunes Library, 1603 songs (5:11:15:47 / 9.31GB) are live recordings of some fashion.
