Sorry if I ask stupid questions, by the way.. I'm new to the forum, and macs thereof.

Is it possible to watch TV on a Macbook Pro? (Software or hardware works.) If you need my
configuration, it is below...

Macbook Pro 2.0 Ghz
100 GB 7200rpm
2 GB RAM
20" Display

Thanks for any help.

You could buy an external tv tuner such as Elgato
iMac 24" | Core 2 Extreme 2.8GHz | 4GB RAM | 500GB HD
PowerBook G4 15" HR | 1.67GHz | 2GB RAM | 100GB HD
R.I.P 1995 Toyota Supra NA-T

Here is a good website for international TV channels:

http://mediahopper.com/portal.htm

But although my 17" Powerbook can work I usually use my much more portable Sony T250 with a Verizon PC5220 BroadbandAccess card. Too bad they havent come out yet with an EVDO or HSPDA card for the MBP; that would be truly awsome especially in a new dual core iBook. I am holding off purchasing any MAC/Windows laptop until I see how the land lays on Dual core laptops with newer EVDO/HSPDA cards. For now my little 10.6" screen Sony can get some pretty good TV from that link. A little more on my card here:

Elgato will wok fine, however unfortunately it's not universal just yet, so HD will be problematic. But it will be.

If you have access to highspeed most of the time, I would go with a Slingbox. I'm using it now on a PC and it works great.
