Hello, I have been searching online for a way to upgrade my Macbook Pro's Hard Drive. I have upgraded Hard Drives and Memory RAMs before but I cannot seem to find the Hard Drive on this machine.

I would appreciate the help.

Here are some great instructions: http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/85.5.0.html

Be prepared to take out 26 screws... including 7 torque screws.

That's "Torx" screws. It's a different kind of head-sort of like a spline/hex cross. They are hard to strip, but you must have the RIGHT size tip or you won't get anywhere. Fortunately, they're pretty easy to find. I got a nice set of standard 1/4 inch drive Torx bits from Home Depot a while back for a very reasonable price.

Thanks for all the help. Great guide by the way. Didn't know that I would have to take the computer apart though...

Perhaps this video would help more than the fixit-stuff (I have found those to be a bit lacking at times)

Tech Center at OtherWorldComputing.com

Though be warned; it's a 260MB download.

If you want a smaller version, find it here:

Cheers.
