Hey I am selling a brand new Macbook Pro 2.4ghz Laptop (MA896LL/A). I won it in a raffle work raffle and already have a laptop and PC so I have no sense in keeping it and would rather sell it. I have researched it and know what it retails for. I am trying to get $2000 for it but will entertain all offers as long as they are not stupid. I do not need another computer so I will not entertain trade offers. I would do the transaction with google checkout. I have a verified account with them. After payment is received I will ship UPS standard ground with a tracking number provided.
Specs are as follows.
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
2.4GHz
800MHz Frontside Bus
2GB PC-5300 DDR Ram
160GB Hard Drive
8X Superdrive
15.4 Widescreen
Nvidia Geforce 8600M
10/100/1000 Gigabit Network Adapter
Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger
I understand that some people may be weary because this is my first post so I will give you the serial number of the unit so that you may check it. W87260fjx92 My name is also Mich Hart which I have taken a picture with my name proving ownership.
I am trying to sell the comp fairly quickly so I have placed this same add on other forums so please dont come into my thread saying "oh ive seen that at another thread" because yes you probably have considering im trying to sell it. Any questions can be PM as well as emailed to me at [email protected]
Thanks

It'd be more effective if your wrote your username in the picture...the whole Mich Hart bit could be written by any yahoo on a site...that's why when you post a pic claiming it to be in your possession, you write your username.

Is the screen flat or glossy? And find out if the 160GB HD is the 5400 rpm or the 7200 rpm. Thats a $150 price difference.

looks like matte and I'll bet it's 5400RPM as a standard configuration (don't see a company buying a configured to order machine for a raffle)

you might also wanna state where you're located... in case someone is near by and willing to pick it up.

True. But then they could have gone with the 2.2GHz one.

I'm interested. Will you accept an escrow service payment?

I haven't heard anything. Does that mean you won't accept escrow?

Probably a scam, if you haven't figured that out, already.
