Naugatuck is nowhere near the water. It's just about smack in the middle of the state in "the valley" I know it's probably odd to call it that, considering we're not all that high above sea level (no actual mountains or anything), but it's pretty hilly

The reasons there is not many females on this board is usually one of the two reasons.

1. Too many desperate males in here hitting on anything with a vulva.
2. Too many insecure males in here that can't stand a woman having an opinion.

btw that cartoon wasn't meant to be offensive, just pointing out that what we project here, testosterone or estogen filled as it may seem, doesn't necessarily have any bearing on who we really are.

As for what to do about it? Ignore it, or find a smaller, more intimate forum that has a different makeup. As long as the testosterone stuff doesn't invade the other (useful) forums here, and stays in the Lounge, fine by me.

This is the internet after all, and we all know it belongs to lonely, horny, males.

Being kind of a closet nerd myself, i'm used to being around all the testosterone, sure doesn't bother me! Just curious how many women out there in MaccNNville doing the same.

Which one was hte dumb blonde one who was dating the other guy in the forums? Tiki or something? I can't remember. Not Cheerios and Juan... it was like some preppy guy with a dumb blonde girl who posted here.

I used to work with 2 girls who had an intersting way of picking up guys.

They would buy 4 of the most expensive/hard to get tickets for local sporting events....usuallly hockey around here.

Then they'd put the tickets for sale in the newspaper classifieds, "4 front row seats to fridaynight's game...etc."...then jack up the price a little/lot.

Almost certainly a mr. moneybags type of guy would call, and hopefully mention he'd like 2 for him and his buddy, or whatever.

Well, after proper screening (girls are good at that), they would say , "well we really wanted to keep the tickets but didn't have dates to take us...etc."...or something similar.

Presto, instant dates with a couple of fat-wallet-guy types.

...so what's the thread about?
