Hello,

Anyone of you know how to turn a script so it is speakable. Another thing, have anyone have problem with Speaking something and the computer doesn't understand?. Sometime I have to speak 20 times until it finally get it. What's the deal here?, it is because English is not my second langauge? T_T. I guess it is having a hard time understanding what I was trying to say. It is useful but can be annoying for someone like me. Sometime I just wanna take a hammer and give it a good wacked!

to make an item speakable, highlight it and tell your Mac "Make This Speakable"... see the Speakable Items folder, this speakable command is in that folder.

also, MacOS Help would tell you this. you should use it sometime.

you said " Sometime I have to speak 20 times until it finally get it. What's the deal here?, it is because English is not my second langauge?"

no, it is because English is not your first language, but lots of people have trouble with it.

you need to speak normally, not loud, and there should be little background noise to interfere with the Mac recognizing the sounds of your words... also there is a freeware product that is called Speech Therapist that may help:

and if Speech recognition annoys you, do not use it.
