does anybody know if there is a plugin or application that will put a preview of mail messages in the corner like entourage does?

What do you mean, "in the corner"? There's my own Letterbox and Dane Harnett's WideMail for a three-column view...

like a little pop up alert when a new message comes like entourage or outlook it would pop up when the mail window is minimized or closed i think growl did it in tiger but i cant get it to work in leopard

Yeah, you can make growl work for Leopard mail:

i have growl and growl mail but the mail in leopard disables it and it doesnt work. I was wondering if there was another program that worked in leopard.

yeah i typed that stuff in the terminal and it still isnt working it still disables growl mail

i tried it a couple of times and it doesnt work for me when i re open it keeps disabeling groql mail

Y'all are nuts. You should be turning OFF the little red circle, and only checking your email once an hour at most

Oh, I know. I personally don't use that stuff.

I'm more a GTD guy, reading and answering email twice a day.
