Apple decided to give me one of those great IBM DeskStar (or DeathStar as they may also be known) in my new MDD 867. And, true to its name, it's failing already.

My question is this: After Apple replaces it (and hopefully gives me the old drive to destroy), can I use Carbon Copy Cloner to move the contents of my old drive to the new one (assuming it still works)? Will the data be corrupted or have to potential to be so? I have a disk image of the drive already made and am ready to use ASR if need be, but I was just wondering how the old drive would maintain data integrity.
