I just bought a new 30" apple cinema display has no stuck/dead pixels *very lucky* everything seems fine.. except lower bottom right of the screen seems teeny bit brighter than the top left corner.. like the whites are lighter on the bottom right or just the right side of the display and the left side when I move a color white background to the left side the white looks greyish.. and I keep my brightness notch at 6 out of the total 16. Does anyone else notice their display being a tiny bit bright on one side than the other.. I think my previous 23" was like that too but just this monitor is just too gigantic to notice it even more..

*Mac Pro 2.8ghz 8 core, 16gb RAM (transintl), Raptor 10k 150gb, 23" ACD*

I only notice it a little when the image on the screen is completely black, I believe what you are experiencing is backlight bleed. It is very minor on my display however if it is very apparent you might want to call Apple and ask them what course of action you should take.

Mine does that sometimes when I turn it on but it soon evens out to such a degree as I can't see it any more.

Either that or it does it every time and I'm not paying attention

My 30" has a noticeable amount of light leakage around the edges, but I can really only see it on with a black or very dark background. If there's stuff on-screen, I tend to not notice the edges. I have a 30" from the first batch produced, so I don't know if the newer ones are better or worse in this regard.
