I plan on buying one... but the only one I saw at the apple store was a 17" MBP with Antiglare (MATTE) LED Hi-Res screen, 2.6ghz c2d for $3199

Was wondering if apple carries the glossy version instead?

They sell it from the online Apple Store. You'll have to call the specific retail store to check availability.
