I have setup two user accounts in OS X. I would like to be able to share mailboxes between both accounts in Mail.app.
Both users are admin, both home privliges have been changed to Read Write for both. I tried making aliases of the mailboxes and the mail app itself with no luck.
Mail will not recognize any mailbox outside your home directory as far as I can see. The is a place in Mail to change the directory of the mailbox, but it is greyed out.
Any ideas?

What kind of mail account are you using ? I think this might only work for Unix mail-type accounts.
If you are still stuck, join the OS X Users mailing list at themacintoshguy.com - there is a guy on the list called cricket, who wrote the Mail application, and is very good at answering questions.
