shuffle audiobook problem

	I recently downloaded my first audiobook, Neuromancer, from GPod. Plays fine in iTunes, but as soon as I copy it onto the shuffle (512MB, USB 1.1), there are dropouts all over the place (example: WG says the title at the beginning, on the shuffle, he doesn't.) Since I'm stumped as to both cause and possible fix, I was wondering if any of you could help? Spanx in advance.
