Anyone use one of those cheap inverters you see at Radio Shack ect. on their Ti Books with any success?

I have one from Radio Shack that works perfectly with my Ti. Costed $99 if I remember correctly.

the dc-12 to ac-110 inverters work great for just about anything, just dont' plug TOO much stuff into it. 3 laptops and an ethernet hub attached to a power strip plugged into one was fine, add a tv and another laptop and you're in for some trouble
road trips are fun when you've got computers

You can buy 150 watts inverters for about $40 on Ebay. I sorry I am out ... but I sold over 300 for less than $30 each used. They work great. Allow you to charge battery & use Ti & Pismo at same time. Since Apple's ac adapter uses only 45 watts.
