So all the Rorschach blots have been posted to wikipedia despite the psychologists' disdain. The more important issue is what do MacNN members see in the blots?
Once enough members have had the change to respond, someone can post the second blot.
Blot 1:
I see a humanoid creature with bat ears, hands stretched upwards and evil wings spread.

I find it hard to believe that psychologists are bothered by these images being circulated to the public. It's only been, what 90 years since they were developed? I can't believe any professional would rely on them to inform a diagnosis in any substantial way. The fact that many are outraged at their publication casts even more doubt on the objective validity of those professions for me.

Until this thread, I had believed Rorschach tests hadn't really been used in the last 35 years. It appears I was mistaken.
Anyways, this is what I see.

That's a confusing line. Does this abattoir exist for the purpose of killing retarded children, or did the retarded children wander into this abattoir because they are retarded?

No, I guess I didn't mean Dumbo, per se, but the fact that the Rorschach looks a LOT like that picture of Dumbo.

Well, to be fair, I made the picture to look like the Rorschach test.
I thought it looked like two elephants on a bell, so I just grabbed a Dumbo pic and a pic of the Liberty Bell and put them together.
