Hello

on my 10.3, when using the Mac app Mail, on clicking a link in an email, the app says something like no application to open.
I use mozilla for browsing and 10.2.7 Mail
would open mozilla on clicking web links.

mail (10.3) only does this if Mozilla is opened first.

is this a 'training issue' with Mail 10.3 v?

thanks Tocca

Have you set Mozilla to be your default browser? You might have to do this in Safari preferences>general or there is a shareware/freeware program, More Internet, which will let you do it from system preferences.

thanks mcs...

my safari says mozilla is the default. I downloaded more internet, but to me it seems like just a list of helper apps.

for http it says web browser.

Mail still does not recognize mozilla UNLESS it is open

one of lifes minor pains

anyother ideas anyone?

Put Mozilla in your Starup Items and have it start automatically. Check the box to have it open hidden.

This would be a good workaround until (and if) a better solution can be found.
