hey guys, I recently bought a 42" flat panel HDTV, and i have a Macbook. i was wondering is there a way that i could connect the macbook and keep it in clamshell mode so that i can use the TV as a monitor, with a wireless mouse and keyboard? thanks in advance

I believe that you'll need a mini-DVI to DVI adapter (sold separately) and DVI to HDMI cable.

The Apple Store (U.S.) - Apple Mini-DVI to DVI Adapter

Newegg.com - Link Depot 6 FT DVI TO HDMI CABLE Model LD-DVI6HDMI - OEM

these are two things you would need

you can also get the mini-dvi to video adapter from apple, but then the resolution sucks

If the unit is a 1080p set then it will be awesome. I don't mind watching a lot of movies with that as a monitor.
