How do I change file association? Anytime I listen to Internet radio streaming .pls my Mac opens RealAudio. I would rather like to use SoundJam or iTunes. Any help appreciated

I use Super ResEdit.
Go to File -> Get File/Folder Info.
There are other utilities, but I like this best...
Do you know the codes for the files you want to change?
I also have a contextual menu plugin for association codes if you want me to send you it...

-=shakes his head=- He's not talking about files, he's talking file associations in his browser. Netscape, IE or anything else should be roughly the same, look in preferences(EDIT menu) and look file helper applications, then you need only know what your streaming media file type(s) are, and select the application you prefer. Just remember, only RealPlayer can play RealMedia files.
Oh yeah, forgot, what I don't know is how to change associations within Finder, and that would be a great help.

File association refers to what I explained. And the question you just asked is the one I answered.
