Mac OS 9.0 installed with Spanish dates default in the Date Modified column of the finder. It reads, martes, 27 junio, for example. How can I change this into US English without having to reinstall? Pls. help me fix this annoying problem.. thanks!

Open the Date & Time control panel. Click on the Date Formats button.

At the top of the dialog box, change the Region pop-up menu from "Spanish" (or whatever it is) to "U.S."

You might also want to check the region setting in the Numbers control panel as well. It could also have been set to somewhere else.
