Can someone with an iPod that has support for Contacts (is it 2nd generation and later) give me a little help?

is the directory to the iPod's contacts directory:

/Volumes/[ipodname]/Contacts

and is there a "iPod_Control" on the iPod volume? Or what is the name of the equivilant?

I don't have an iPod hooked to a Mac, so I can't verify this myself.

I'm working on something pretty cool (I'm psyched), but My Mac's Firewire port doesn't work, so my personal iPod hooked up to my PC laptop. So I can't verfy the Mac portion of this myself.

In Terminal, ls on volumes/ipod shows:

Calendars Desktop DB Icon? iPod_Control
Contacts Desktop DF Notes

So the answer to both questions is yes.
What is it that you're working on?

I wrote a Mozilla Thunderbird extension to sync your Mozilla Thunderbird Address Book to the iPod. I got it working on the PC, and of course want it working on the Mac.

But as I said before, my Mac is funky, so it wasn't going to work on mine.

Thanks for the help.

It doesn't have a webpage setup for it yet on mozdev, but that will be announced on http://robert.accettura.com when it's setup.

I'll try and remember to update this thread when that happens as well.

Will be typical MPL/LGPL/GPL tri-license.
