Revision in modern context is spin/fabrication for PC sake. Updating terminology isn't necessarily revision.

I'll agree that re-labeling things is just about as pointless and empty a gesture as possible.

Terrorist attack is a man-made disaster? Ugh, friggin euphemistic language softens us all.
