Just a heads-up:

On installing 10.5.2, iCal ostensibly had lost ALL its calendars.

Deleting ~yourhomefolder/Library/Calendars/Calendar Cache and re-opening iCal worked peaches.

No more issues since then.

All mine survived intact, but thanks for the tip.

Mine reappeared after I opened iSync (though I didn't run it).

This didn't work for me, unfortunately.
Neither did copying the Calendars folder over from my TimeMachine backup.

Interestingly enough, the events seem to be still there, as they synchronise correctly to my iPod and phone. They just don't appear on the system.

Worked for me, many thanks. And to think I found this thread about 10 seconds after posting my own whiny thread about iCal falling over on launch (without searching forums first). Pity the poor fool, me!

I didn't have any problems with my calendars when I ran the 10.5.2 upgrade, but it's good to know that there's a fix in case it happened to others. Thanks for sharing.
