Since the web developer forums seems also applicable, I repost it here (originally posted in Applications):

Please help me to figure this out. I use extensively the RAE Widget (which I believe is also the base for other dictionaries around). It can be downloaded from here. It basically retrieves the dictionary information from a website.
Surprisingly, it stopped working, and returns an eternal "Buscando..." (Searching...). But the strange thing is that if I load the widget in Safari, it works flawlessly.
Also, Console throws this lines when I try to use it:

[341] file:///Users/agus/Library/Widgets/RAE.wdgt/RAE.html:TypeError - Null value
2005-11-15 20:06:53.188 DashboardClient[341] (com.pathos.widget.RAE) file:///Users/agus/Library/Widgets/RAE.wdgt/Scripts/RAE.js: TypeError - Null value (line: 43)

I tried emailing the developer, but I had no answer. I even downloaded some JavaScript tutorials to learn and eventually detect and fix the problem, but I don't have the time to sit, read and learn.

Thanks a lot for the help.

Oh, I did a search and most widgets questions went to the Applications forum. I wonder if it should be posted under Web Developer.

Y no entienden nada... ¡y cómo se divierten!...

I have slightly less than no idea how to go about trying to pinpoint and, eventually, fix the problem; but I'm glad to see it's not only my RAE widget that suddenly stopped working.

I don't get any 'Buscando' message, though, it just does absolutely nothing when I try to search for anything.

This morning I had a reply from the developer. He sent me a new version that works perfectly. PM me and I will forward it to the mail address you specify.
