Right - calm, I have an imac dvse which is connected to an adsl modem through usb - works fine.
_
Stick in an ethernet cable to the iMac plug in a Ti to the other end of the ethernet, click on Internet sharing, works fine.
_
Have put OS X 10.2 on 2 beige desktops G3/266's stuck in the same ethernet cable, made sure the ethernet port is active in system prefs and nothing happens on both machines - the internet sharing is greyed out on both, and both machines once belonged to a network.
_
What the f***?

Any ideas!
