WTB: broken white ipod 30gb.

i recentally got my ipod stolen but i had a 2 year warranty on it. i need a broken ipod, hell it can be a shell. i dont care. i just need to take it to best buy to get a new one. someone help me out!

Don't they track serial numbers with the warranty?

I'm pretty positive they track serial numbers -- and plus, they ship it out to have it inspected and if they see that theres nothing in there, they won't replace it. Also, I had my ipod's battery replaced through bestbuy, took like 2 weeks, and they weakened my case from opening it the way they did, and scratched it up (as it was in very good condition). Would not recommend their warranty at all. I've opened an ipod even without damaging the case. I actually believe they might have replaced my case with another one from a broken ipod.

I was just trying to prewarn you before you spent money on something that wouldn't work. If this does work, lemme know, cause I know for a fact Apple stores check the serial numbers with their extended warranty, and I would assume bestbuy would have to as well.
