EDIT: If you already read and reply to the below. Please answer this new question.

Do you guys like me like everybody else on these boards. Or in a special way (not "I think you are hot" kinda way).

(Note: I know I'm getting my self in trouble with this thread.)

Ok. It seem to me that one second everybody likes me and then no one likes me and then, you get the idea.

I should of kept my mouth shut about how many Macs I have. I really regret that.

So what is the current call? Like me ( ) or no ( )?

Thanks!

Huh??? 'Sun

[This message has been edited by SunSeeker (edited 05-27-2001).]

It took a few minutes but it finally came back to me, god I thought it was something serious.

so it's OK to state that you don't like the US president or the owner of the worlds largest whatever
or even pbdude (who I said I do like) but.........

actually I didn't say I don't like anybody, the implication was merely indifference, that was the intended meaning anyway.

could have been a typo

sheesh

Anyway, didn't mean to upset anyone, slightly mystified, Sorry, and if you emailed me about this I won't be able to get it until tomorrow as I don't have my mail set up on this computer.

[This message has been edited by SunSeeker (edited 05-27-2001).]

final edit:it's v.late here no offence intended by the above and just in case, sorry

I know that it is tough to tell the difference between good natured teasing and people being mean on here. We all forget that no one can see a smile in what they type. There is no change of voice or mannerism to indicate your intent. I would say most, if not all of what has been directed at you is the good natured type of teasing. At least my share of it has been. I don't think anyone is going to stop liking you because of how many macs you own, and if they did, well, that person would be a dick, wouldn't they? It's all good little buddy. So relax, and enjoy your saturday, 'cause all is right with the world.

And just in case that still leaves some confussion ------>

PBD, it's not your fault that your parents are rich enough to buy you a new computer every 4 months. I'd love to have parents like that. Mine won't buy me a new computer until I get to college, if ever.

How about "Who cares and who doesn't?"
In my experience, it can be just as effective to have people hate you as to like you. All that matters is the result. You must evoke emotion in them, and the rest is inconsequential. Make them fear the wrath of the Sith, and their favor falls in your list of priorities!

Listen to me, PowerBookDude! Only care: Apathy is the enemy of like, not dislike!

Sorry, but I had to make it a separate form for legal reasons. That service is contracted by a third party, which I did after i started the site. I can't disclose info for users, they have to do it themselves, thus I need to have separate forms.

Either way, people don't like it, so I had to decide on the less of the 2 evils.

and as far as that edit goes, I don't like you at all in that type of way.

while i don't dislike you,
i'm almost curious enough to ask how much time you spend on these fora,
and then to recommend (as albertwu did) that you get out more, as well mentioning my dislike of the eightyfivebillionandahalf LOL posts.

but... ah well, i just don't care.

Oh My God! PowerBookDude, cool it on the identity crisis!!! I don't think you can ask anyone here if they truly like you or not, 'cause they haven't met you. Simple as that.

Besides, if someone really disliked you he wouldn't post it, now would he.

don't sweat it, from what I've read and all throughout the forums, everyone likes to tease each other and sometimes it goes too far. But, int he end it's all good.

As far as I know from conversing with each other through these fora, the members get a glimpse of who you are, although you haven't met the person directly. Through that small glimpse bonds form and you know its a big ol' family.

Just be confident about yourself and who you are. Keep strong and those who like you will follow you, and those who don't will fade away with time.
anyways, enought ranting for now
