Do you use Konfabulator? There are widgets that can do all over the above... Otherwise you might want to look into Menu Meters...

good initiative but the antialias is not good :/ i also don't like much the direction and the strengh of the shadows. Perhaps you could try to contrast more before the color range, then fill again the layer with grey to remove white outset. Try to set the shadow from center top too (90�) with a smaller distance, a smaller radius and a smaller opacity

Sorry, i've somehow missed it. I love the look of that app, i hope there were more widgets in that pixel clean flat style. Like AveTenebrae an AirPort status would be nice...also, a network status, processor monitor, etc.

i'm not sure if i like the look of marvin.

douglas adams was a huge mac fan. i remember talking to him at macworld in 99 and how excited he was that the final draft of the hitchhikers movie was done and that he would be able to move onto other things.
