OH MY GOD. I want that. Honestly, the 0-60mph is probably pretty weak...but man... I bet you from 60mph and up it's just insane. GOD....that's ****ing awesome. Imagine toning it down a bit and using it on a regular highway... could imagine seeing something like that? What would a cop do?!?! AhAhhhahhah god htat's great. High speeds are the freaking intoxicating and orgasmic. I can't wait to get out west again and hit 150mph.
My run last year with a bad wheel bearing and a full tank of gas:

Going at high speeds don't impress me.
Going to 0 - 60 in a fast time does.

I would have hoped it would break 200 mph. The fastest I've ever gone was 153mph on I-95 in SC, in a '94 RX-7. Having two jet turbines and only hitting 140 seems pretty weak.
Edit: Just saw where he said it hit 187 with room to go. That's more like it

Going 0-60mph is easy. Any car can be quick with the right gearing.
Driving above 130mph is .... interesting. Top end rules. Aerodynamics come into play in a big way, suspension feels so much softer, it's just crazy. On the way back, I set my cruise at 115mph at drove for over an hour. It was freaking incredible.
213mph!!!!
198 mph!!!!
219mph!
That last car is a studebaker, and that bodystyle was made 53-55, designed by Raymond Loewy. To this day, it still has an awesome drag coefficient! My dad has the same car, only the president edition speedster (rare!)

187. Did you read the listing? He said, room to spare as well...
Edit: Never mind, you just read it... and edited your post.
The fastest I've ever gone was 160 in a vette.

Oh yeah -- when do we get to turn this into a small penis thread about "the need for speed"?

Were you driving? I just pussied out at 153. I was going for 160, but was too chicken to hold it any longer. At those speeds, you cover like half a mile just changing lanes. It's wild.

140mph was just ... ah god it was fun. 150mph is my goal. Some german dude took a car lke mine on the autobahn and hit 171mph, STOCK, with a 911 in front and in back of him. Pretty cool. Heh.

I do a lot of driving on the Autobahn here in Germany. My American-spec Ford Focus has a speed governor that kicks in at 107mph. That actually becomes a problem when trying to compete with just 'normal' autobahn traffic in some places. For example, riding along at 105mph and needing an extra burst of accel to pass somebody. Ain't happenin'
When I first got to Europe driving on the autobahn about made me crap my pants. Now I'm used to the speed and 65mph seems S-L-O-W. I'm getting mad tickets when I move back to the US for sure.

Slow <----------------------------------X-------> Fast

That turbine car needs a bit more 'Furious.'
Maybe an outrageously huge spoiler and lime green paint?

Decals dude, don't forget the decals. A chrome strip at the bottom of the door with Toyota in cursive purple letters should shave off a few tenths in the quarter, too.

You need a Type-R sticker. That'll add 10 Mph.

Ya, my dad actually works at Dodge, and we were out at the Daimler/Chrysler proving grounds here north of Phoenix, so I had the opportunity to drive one on their 8 mile oval. Fun times. This was about 3 or 4 years ago before they were released to the public.
