As I unpacked my iBook I realized I am missing the adaptor cable to connect to an external monitor. Since there was no packing list included I am not sure now I was supposed to get one. Can somebody set me straight there. Thanks. DrIcaro

It is an "Accessory", It doesnt come with the ibook2...
and if you try to use a non-apple A/V adapter it wont work, I have tried every type of reslotion and NTSC and PAL options to no avail... they engineered it so that only a Apple A/V adapter would work....

!!!!! BUT I have discovered that if you pull it out about one centimeter it works fine..... nice way to aviod buying another accessory.... I already had this type of adapter from my D/V camcorder.

I think he's talking about the included VGA cable. Umm, if it was not included, give Apple a call, they should send you a new one. However. I'm not sure how'd they verify all of that. If you're talking about the cable to connect to a TV, then yes, that's not included. That's something you have to order seperately.

I meant the VGA cable, not the AV TV adaptor cable.
Thanks, I'll call them first thing Tuesday (Monday is a holiday here). Dr.
