Although I speak and write in Spanish, I have my system language in English (This comes from the days where Macs here were only available in English... long ago... and I got used to it; and it is easier for troubleshooting). Nevertheless, Spanish spellchecking (Multilingual) was a godsend to me.
A couple of days ago, I ran Monolingual and erased all localizations but English, in order to reclaim disk space.
Yesterday I noticed I lost spellchecking in Spanish. In order to correct that, I did an option install for Spanish localized files. It did not work.

Does someone know where are the dictionaries for global spellckecking and how can I locate and extract them from the install CDs?

Or is my only way to reinstall the whole system?

Thanks for your help!.

Y no entienden nada... ¡y cómo se divierten!...
