There is no video/audio chat support in the AIM client on any platform at this time.
There is no video/audio chat support in MSN Messenger for Mac OS X (it's a smouldering heap of sh*te).

What do you mean by that?
iChat supports .mac accounts and AIM accounts. If you have a friend that has ichat you can do audio and video with them. (Provided they have to have the equipment)

I understand that the iSight works with Yahoo Messenger, so you can always try that.
Truth be told, though, I think I'll only ever use iChat AV myself.

I don't think AIM doesn't have the video chat capability. I think they have been blocked until very recently from having it. Now that they can put this capablity into their client, I hope they will.
In my opinion, iChatAV needs to be ported to windows, just like iTunes to drive the sales of their iSight device. I still have a lot of friends using PCs, so it doesn't make sense to buy an iSight when I can't communicate with so many people. It would be nice it iChat could communicate via MSN protocols, but i doubt that will happen. But there are some 3rd party open source projects that are trying to fill this gap.

Just been updated so that audio now works properly at long last too.
Bit of a clunky app, but does work. And like iChat, it's a bit of a CPU hog. Should not be an issue on most modern PowerBooks though. Is also cross platform compatible. But not compatible with AIM and the like..

I'm surprised no one has mentioned ISPQ.
http://www.ispq.com
It's cross platform, allows you to meet new friends, and hook up for one on one chats with friends you already have. Audio support is a little dicey, but it works well with the iSight and just about any other firewire cam.
I still think iChat AV is a better program, but for meeting up with PC friends, ISPQ works well.
