Interesting story: http://abcnews.go.com/sections/us/Da...on_010103.html
She falls in love with a picture of a convict, crosses the ocean to meet him, discovers he is, well, slow witted, and wants to marry him before he is executed? Wierd.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Yonkers can have better TV reception.

Yuck!!

Too bad they didn't show a picture of her.
Imagine what her family in Germany must be thinking/saying.

...and my Dad thought I made poor choices.

Who knows, it may just be a big publicity stunt. She may love attention, and therfore be doing this to see her face on the news.

1. The clothing company is sick

2. The girl isn't sick. She's sick, desperate, AND dillusionary.

This is another item in the history of this phenomenon:

Men convicted of the most horrible and sickening crimes receive many love letters
and proposals of marriage from girls/women.

Why? Who knows - even more to the point, who cares?

Equally puzzling are the female teachers instigating an intimate relationship with
young male students.

Man, was my education lacking - I would have thought I had died and gone to
paradise if it had happened to me. Damn, no such luck. Took me years to get up
to speed.

The cynic in me thinks that maybe there is an insurance policy involved. He's about to be executed, no chance of ever leaving the prison alive, but some one wants to marry him. Hmmm....

Funny really, usually you're a prisoner AFTER marrage, not before. As for Insurance, what kind of insurance does a convict usually have?? Probability of never claiming is pretty high in that kinda profession, I guess? Low Premiums?

Here's a follow up article. An interview with Crazy Woman, and her pic. http://abcnews.go.com/sections/us/Da...zin010119.html
Now I'll go read it myself.
