Wrong, but thank YOU for trying to point out a grammatical error in my post. We all need to be vigilent and it's nice to know someone is looking out for such things.

Oh that's right, how could I forget the liberal media? Asking those pesky questions and researching those facts....

Trust me, I don't need to worry about my pension either but thanks for the concern.

No matter - it's the kind of thing I expect from Dems.
Really? I thought it might have been from years of heavy drinking. My bad.
It's strange how when he was Governor of Texas, his speeches were actually pretty good. In fact, many of them were eloquent. Go back and listen to them if you can. Doesn't sound like the Bush we hear today. It's weird that he would suddenly develop some kind of speech/learning disorder in the past 8-10 years or so.

Where did I say that?

Okay, I concede that I may have been a bit harsh in using the word idiot -- even though I've been called far worse in relation to my political and religious views.
I will amend my statement and say that, in my opinion, voting for Obama is idiocy due to my differences with his worldview.
Are we all friends now? Who's up for a big, Maury hug? b3ss? goMac? And lastly, I will say this:
w00t!

I think McCain (if he loses) will have no one to blame but himself.
He decided to focus his ads on attacking Obama's character, associations, and experience instead of getting his message out there. Based on his ads alone, I honestly could not tell you what McCain stands for.
The same cannot be said for Obama. He has largely ignored the personal attacks and kept on message, which I think is resonating with voters. The average American voter does not care about who Obama knew, who he might have worked with, etc. They care about the issues that affect them the most and those are economic policy, health care, taxes, energy, etc.
If McCain loses, he can blame the loss on his decision to make personal attacks instead of focusing on how his policies are different from Obama's and different from Bush's.

The way to tell if "you or I" or "you or me" is correct is fairly easy. Eliminate the preceding "you or" and read the sentence with only "me" or "I" in it. The correct option should be apparent.

Except it isn't always simple, which is probably why RAILhead made the mistake.
"He is bigger than me" sounds good to me. In fact, this is what I personally would use... even though it's technically incorrect according to the nitpickers in the grammar police dept.
The correct one is "He is bigger than I" even though some people think that sounds obnoxious.
I liken it to "It's me" vs "It is I". The latter is correct, but everyone uses the former.

I saw this on twitter and thought it could prove to be accurate:
"Obama '08 looks like the Patriots '07. He hasn't lost a game. But there's one big game left that turns out to be the only one that matters."
