As the title suggests, post a pic of your favorite icon, and include what application or icon set it comes with (or who the designer is) and why you like it.

I'll start:

iPod icon from Dave Brasgalla's World of Aqua 3.

I prefer this one to the third-generation iPod icon because I own a second-gen iPod, and there's something incredibly realistic about this icon.

I love that iPod icon too. I've got the one without ear-buds for my iPod's icon.

I like a lot of the icons in WOA: After Dark, even though the name sounds like something from Cinemax

I'm pretty fond of Adam Betts' work (from icons to website designs). I'm like a fan of this guy.

I also like Mike Matas' work and Daniel Counsell (www.realmacsoftware.com)

I like IconFactory's photorealism a lot.

The crazy pathfinder star logo used before was IMHO much better;)
I remove the icon and splash screen from all the latest versions and replace
it before firing pathfinder up.

First of six icons (Finder, Safari, Internal Drive, Photoshop, ImageReady, Generic Folder) that I made in Photoshop before I stopped. I don't even remember why I stopped... probably because it's so tedious and I wasn't terribly happy with the way the last one worked out (Generic Folder).

Where did you get that Mario chompy flower? It's awesome!
Is this rock and roll, or
a form of state control?

I can't figure out where it came from, but I like this icon:
Trainiable is to cat as ability to live without food is to human.

I'm a complete slut for anything Dave Brasgalla does, if I ever see a picture of him, I am sure it'll be of him walking on water.
