Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, stogie and I cleared up Gears 1 on hardcore this weekend. We were both shocked at how damn glitchy it is. I'd also put forth that Gears 1 hardcore is harder than 2s.

Afterwards, I talked stogie into playing a multi game. We (predictably) ended up on opposite teams, but it was a blast since we were in a party/chat. We also played witha ridiculous set of people. A guy on my team would act like he was AFK, and when someone came up to kill them, surprise blast them.

The rest of the time, stogie and I were racing to see who could pop the other's head with the sniper, while trash talking each other.

Can we lure Ort and Geofries to show up? That'd be 6 peeps, good for some 3 on 3 (Or 4 on 4 with 1 bot).

I'm really gonna try to make it but its finals week and i have a linear regression for economics final friday morning.... i'll see what i can do, but after this week i'm FREE for a month.

Wow, can't remember the last time I've seen Halo 3 at the top spot. Call of Duty 4 held that place up until GoW 2 was released.

I was a little stunned, but they did run a deal on the Legendary maps lately, and that may have suckered in all the people who were waiting for them to turn free but realized they wouldn't.

So matchmaking is a lot faster...a lot faster at screwing up the amount of players in the lobby that is.

Between the dozen or so games I've played since last night about 2 of them had full teams.

I've been playing on the new maps thanks to all the extra MS points I had left over from buying Portal: Still Alive and it amazes me how quickly everyone learns where the weapons are. I doubt I had a single game where the Lancer and Shotgun weren't my only weapons.

Arguably, the power weapons control the maps even better than Halo. Some ****ers are just magical with the Torque bow.

Then again, I've seen a dude who was surgical with the shotgun go one-on-three against a team and just cleared them the **** out.

Dear Diary,
I was really sad when I found out that Bogues would be unable to join us it today's meet-up. This sadness quickly went away when Dakar, Fatty and I managed to win 3 straight games in multiplayer. I finally received my King of the Hill achievement and we all learned that as long as your team wins, you don't have to stay alive to receive the guardian achievement. It was the best day ever.

I have to say, we've gotten an impressive amount of NN PT in here the past few days.

Quality win by everyone that game we won by 1 point (KOTH on Canals). We also had a good amount of death orgies during Annex last night.

I think Fatty ha already surpassed me as a Gears player (not that his rank reflects it, but then again, given my record this weekend, I probably should have ranked up too).

And Blood Drive is now my most played map.

Well, sek and I had a marathon session last night. He still can't get a rank up, even though he's playing as well as me, and I'm playing better than when I earned my rank up.

Also, revving your buzzsaw is a sign of victory.
