So I recently purchased the 12" Powerbook with Applecare. I love it... the only complaint is that it gets hot fast, but I can love past that.

The question I had is was there some sort of deal for Applecare? Apple only charged me $239 for it. I was configuring another for a friend and I saw the price was now $349!

I checked my invoice and the part number is M8853LL/A. I checked for this on Apple and it's the same Applecare with a higher price. But my invoice only listed it for $239.

So did Apple mess up or was their some sort of promotion that I didn't even know about? I don't want my whole warranty screwed up because of this.

Thanks.

my 1 yr is almost up, should I sale my rev.B 12" and get a vev.C? If I can sale it for $1100 then only need $500 more.

$239 (if I get applecare with ed.discount now)
$261 for 333 Mhz, 2 more x of superdrive, 20GB of harddrive space, double the video RAM not a bad deal eh?
