My bike is technically a sport-cruiser. It's a Kawasaki Ninja 500 (EX500).

I don't have one but I had the chance to sit and gawk at one of these earlier this year at the home of a friend. This is one badass bike.

Havn't owned a bike for many moons, but if I ever get back on 2 wheels (next year, hopefully) then it'll be one of these:

Triumph Rocket 3, coming to a highway near you this spring.
2300cc, 147ft.lbf, 140bhp

That's 100lbs lighter than a V-Max with the same power and half again as much torque. This thing will really move. I want one!

Triumph's new Speed Triple is more my cup of tea, but the behemoth Rocket III is pretty nifty.

Never owned or even rode on a motorcycle. A little afraid of all that power. Did ride on a scooter once, during high school, it was a friends.

RC8.
Same basic engine config as the forthcoming 990 Super Duke but with more hp.
There is a video that KTM removed from their site (for obvious reasons) of the 990 Super Duke floating around. Here's one link, but these places tend to come and go. Video is WMV, and irresponsible as well, but the rider has got some ability and stones, to be sure.

that's interesting.

i was all set to buy a motorcycle this spring, having gone through a msf ridercourse and all. but instead i bought a downhill bike. pics are too big to inline, but you can peer at it here: canfield f1 downhill bike.

the monster t fork was adapted by marzocchi from one of their mototrials designs, and the avalanche rear shock (not in the pics above) is by a company that made and still makes mx shocks, so it does have some motorcycle heritage.
