I suspect they are. I bought one, and it took a very long time to be delievered. I ordered 3rd Dec and got a call from the reseller on 17 Dec to tell me it had arrived. Although I did get BTO Bluetooth so I guess that may have caused the delay.

There not selling like iPod's where Apple can't make them fast enough but i'm sure Apple is very happy with the sales of the new iMac. I would have bought one but I already purchased a new eMac.

A surprising number of 20" models, and not so many 1.6GHz sales.

I've got one.
Traditionally iMac has never been a good seller. Its sale has declined by a whopping 23%* from last year and declined 19%* before that. So while iMac may sell briskly from the anectodal evidence here but the past history shows that it is not going to be a blockbuster.
* Figure includes eMac since Apple does not break out sales between iMac and eMac.

Traditionally iMac has never been a good seller.
I've been selling iMacs since the day they were announced in 1998. The iMac G4 didn't sell as well as the G3 models. What I can tell you from face-to-face experience, is that customers are absolutely smitten with the G5. Time will tell.

I have one as well. It arrived 12/09/04 and other than a stuck red pixel in the corner, no problems at all.
