no it was an internet game, I was on my G5 my roomate was on his DP G4 and there were between 10 - 14 people in the server

Yea, most servers in Halo are full of idiots who have never played another FPS game and just plain suck.

Hi-kills for beginners:
1. Blood Gulch - Team Slayer.
2. Grab Banshee.
3. Fly to opponents base.
4. Do donuts on top of said base.
5. Sit back and watch your kills rocket.
You're only in trouble if someone makes it off the top of the base, or spawns behind/in front. Grabbing the other banshee/a ghost and circling the base takes care of that though. Watch out for tanks/warthogs.
Kind of a crappy way to get kills, but there you are.
