Hi,

I have noticed that my MBP's(W8612******, SMC 1.2f10) screen winks withing 2-3seconds of waking up. The wink is almost the same as an old TV does when changing channels (mine is more than 10yrs old, so don't know about new ones). I don't think it did this blinking before the 10.4.6 update (just after I got it and tested without the upgrade).

Does this happen to your MBP or is it only me? Should I call up Apple? (this questin is kind of a fashion now)

Thanks

Goes blue screen and then comes back in a second? It happens to mine on occation. Never thought that much about it, but it only started happening after the last firmware update.

No blue screens for me though. When it is woke up, the screen shows what it had on the screen when it went to sleep and then immediately blanks out to absolute black. It comes back to normal in about half or quarter of a second though.

Just did my 10.4.7 and tested the sleep-wink problem once and it seems to have solved itself. Will update if it reoccurs.
