If you're like most people, your iPhone has replaced your digital camera for most occasions. After all, most people always have a phone with them, so they never have to worry about missing a shot. While the iPhone certainly has a great point-and-shoot quality to it, users have begun looking for new apps to augment their on-the-go photography experience. There certainly isn't a shortage of camera apps on the App Store these days, but Camera+ by tap tap tap is a long-standing camera app worth a closer look.

Camera+ is jam-packed with features that users would be hard pressed to find elsewhere. One of the inherent flaws with most photography apps is the inability to set the exposure separately from the flash. Camera+ rectifies this problem, giving users the ability to decide how light or dark their photos will come out.

Photography buffs will enjoy the built-in grid, allowing them to take interesting shots that encompass the "rule of thirds," and those who photograph children and animals will especially love the built-in burst mode. Those who take macro images will certainly enjoy the ability in the app to use the iPhone's flash as a fill light to help improve fine detail in an image.

The app also contains a rather impressive collection of photo editing tools, which largely are aimed at helping users correct both color and lighting issues when photographs are taken under less-than-ideal lighting. There are myriad presets, but the app goes a step further and allows users to set brightness, contrast, exposure, color tint, and more. If, on the other hand, stylish filters are what a user is looking for, Camera+ delivers on that front as well.

While offering the ability to apply photo filters, unlike most apps a user is also allowed to control both the intensity of the filter, as well as add multiple filters to a single photograph. This is especially beneficial to those who feel that other apps tend to have filters that are too strong. Once a user has perfected their picture, they are able to share it to Twitter, Facebook, and all the usual iOS venues. Camera+ also keeps the photos stored in-app if a user wishes to return to them later.

Overall, Camera+ is an app with a lot of features to help enhance users' experiences. Those who use the iPhone as their primary digital camera will likely benefit from this app. It's available for the iPhone and iPod touch for $3, as well as a discrete version for the iPad at $5.

Who Camera+ is for:
Users looking for a more customizable photograph-enhancing experience

Who Camera+ is not for:
Users who are content with the default images produced by the iPhone/iPad's camera app

Although its a very nice application, elaborated here by you. Definitely very useful for the users like me who love photography by their own iPhone, but is there any free demo version available of this application and any other cool feature.
