I have a playlist set up on my iPhone 3G for podcast of a radio show. I have it set up to transfer songs manually. I drag over the 8-12 podcasts. When I play the podcasts, it will say 3 of 14 or whatever. However, when I touch the little playlist icon on the top right, it flips over to reveal 40 or so podcasts. When I'm done listening to the podcasts, I delete the ones I've recently added through iTunes, but I don't see the older ones. WTF? How do I get these older ones off my iPhone?

Anyone? Hate to bump, but can't seem to erase the older podcasts.

I just have the same problem.. I deleted a podcast in itunes, but
it doesn't delete from the ipod apparently, and when I go to play it,
it freezes up the Music app on my ipod touch.. Only a shut down, and
reboot of the touch will unfreeze the Music app..
The undeleteable podcast doesn't show up in itunes...
Anyone? (this thread was started in Sept 2008, I may start another one..)

I've had the same problem since one of the early updates in 2.x
I have the same issue with video and audio podcasts, even when i watch them all the way through they don't get marked as fully watched and remain on the iPhone.
The only thing I can do to fix it is to go into itunes and right click the file and choose "Not new".
It really makes me wonder if apple uses it's own products or does proper bug tracking.
