90% of the bookmarks in my Bookmarks Bar are RSS feeds. It's really the only reason I'm still using Safari, is that nothing else has integrated RSS the way Safari did, and I've deeply integrated RSS into my daily browsing habits.

I'm still on Lion for the moment, but there's a lot to like about Mountain Lion (other than the removal of RSS), so I'm wondering -- what's the best way forward?

I've always used NetNewsWire for my rss needs. Reeder on the iPad.
It's not necessarily integrated into the browser, but it's the method I've grown accustomed to.

Reeder for iOS is excellent and Reeder for OSX is equally as excellent. NetNewsWire would be my recommendation for a free alternative though Vienna and RSSOwl are good as well.

I haven't looked into it, but aren't there a number of RSS extensions for Safari?
