4 Days ago I "lost" my v.90 speed. I had just installed Macster PR 5.5 and Soundjam MP. Suddenly I was cut off from my moderate speed of 48K. I can no longer connect when the modem is set to v.90 (internal iMac modem), but I can connect whant the setting is changed to v.34. This s*cks. Can anyone help???

V. 90 isn't a speed setting - it is a modem 'standard', like a protocol.
Try the modem scripts here.
Also, check to see if your ISP is V.90 compliant. If they aren't, drop them.
Also, try disabling any extensions Macster and Soundjam installed. I know SJ installs 1, called 'SoundJam Extension', but I think thats all between the two of them. It shouldn't effect your sitch though...

I think that my ISP is v.90 compliant, at least they were until last Friday. Until then, I was connecting at 48K, and now I cannot establish a connection with the modem set to iMac internal v.90. So I changed it to iMac internal v.34. I can then connect at a max of 26400, but this still s*cks. I appreciate the suggestion Cipher, but I am still looking for something more concrete.

so what the heck iMac do you have? You say rev D, but hten you say DV, which is obviously NOT rev D. That might help.

You either have a:

Rev. D, 333MHz iMac, tangerine, 32MB pre-installed, 6GB hard drive, 24x CD-ROM

or...

Rev. E, 400MHz iMac, tangerine, 64MB pre-installed, 10GB hard drive, 4x DVD-ROM
