Every product or software they release is always delayed. First it was leopard, then it was the apple tv update, 10.5.2 took a while, now it's halfway through february and we have no sign of the iphone SDK, i would really like some 3rd party apps on my iphone. Where are the games? every phone since the early nokias had games (snake rocked) I would be willing to spend $$$ on some iphone games $5 - $10 would be fair for a decent game. I don't care for webapp games, most suck!

Good point, I was thinking the same thing as Aperture 1.5 seemed to languish. Now that 2.0 is out, I'm pleased but I think you're correct. Too many irons in the fire.

Then hire more developers, Apple. It definitely seems like Apple may be straining to keep up with itself.

I think Apple would be a little less late on things if you didn't count "Still has two weeks until deadline" as late.

BTW, the syntax of this thread's title are make my head spin.

Apple TV took time to figure out what would work in the market and what wouldn't.
The iPhone SDK isn't due out yet, they said end of February.
And as far as Leopard being a little late, take a look at the competition (Vista). At least Leopard was well worth the wait. 10.5.1 and 10.5.2 are right on schedule as far as I'm concerned. Lots of things were fixed with each update. What's the rush?

Also, Apple isn't just Steve, John Ive, and a programmer. Lots of divisions of people working on many things simultaneously. If Apple's products were hastily released and had all sorts of problems, I would understand your argument, but what about anything Apple has done has been so bad lately? It's easy to be impatient.

After seeing how 10.5.1 ran on my new new iMac all is not right. At least with 10.5.2 I haven't had any programs crash for sigbus and other various errors.
