Which firefox build do you use? I've been using standard FF with random added configurations I find on the internet. I'm sure there's a faster/better version out there that I haven't found yet. Thanks in advance!

I use my own trunk build, optimized for PowerPC 7450.

In terminal, type 'machine' (without quotes) and hit enter.

It would be nice if that command would return something more helpful than the generic processor family. Of course, I do know of ways to get specific machine details, but dealing with io reg grep and the resultant machine code is not necessarily of much help, either (especially not without a database of those codes). I still have to wonder how Apple's support lines have learned to deal with customers who do not have much of a clue about the specific model Mac they have. The numbered model naming convention of yesteryear (Quadra 650, Power Mac 8600/300, etc.) certainly was not pretty, but at least it was a lot more descriptive than what we have now.

Not much.
Different icons & graphics on the "About & Credits" windows and the processor specific optimization.
