Last night i opened the log and started to read thought it and i came across the part where i had to reboot and it is showing for my Video card that i have a 8500 and not a 9200 radeon ati card. here is the link to the log. I highlight the part with the video card.

The fact that you see radeon 8500 does not mean that you have a radeon 8500. It just means that Apple has not yet specific drivers for the 9200, so OS X is just using radeon 8500 drivers for your video card.

If you really want to see which video card you have, use Apple System Profiler.

Yes, the G4 iBooks all have Radeon 9200s. However, the Radeon 9200 is based on the Radeon 8500 so there shouldn't be much of a difference. If it's using the same drivers that sounds fine.

"That's Mama Luigi to you, Mario!" *wheeze*
