In the past two weeks, I have been getting the following message when I plug my iPod into my MacBook.

USB Over Current Notice
A USB device is currently drawing too much power.
The hub it is attached to will be deactivated.

The iPod is attached directly to the MacBook. I get the same message when plugging the iPod into a PowerMac. When plugging the iPod into a Windows XP machine, I get a similar message. I thought it might be my cable, so I used someone else's cable. I get the same thing. I can charge my iPod with a wall adapter, but otherwise I got nothing.

Is there anything I can do to resolve this, or is my iPod's music stuck in its current state of music choices forever?
