A leaked image has seemingly confirmed that the HTC One will be making its way to Verizon, long after AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint started selling the smartphone. The image, said to be sourced from someone that needs "knowledge of upcoming devices," is accompanied by further information suggesting that Verizon customers may be in for a longer wait than they thought before they can buy the flagship HTC handset.

The details, picked up from @evleaks by Slashgear, states that Verizon typically keeps phones in stock for an entire year. Since the carrier started to carry the Droid DNA in November of last year, it would not be in the company's best interests to effectively replace it with the HTC One half a year into its life on the network. Though it is unlikely for Verizon to wait until mid-November to offer its own version of the HTC One to customers, it could still be a few more months until it does so.

Since the HTC One launched, the manufacturer has increased supply of the phone to carriers, and has come close to shipping five million handsets globally.
