I imagine this update doesn't interest most of the people here (dark theme central), never the less:

http://www.geocities.com/gershwix/
  • Compatible with Mac OS X 10.3.3.
  • Supports some application skins including Safari.
  • Some graphical changes on general UI elements.
  • Some bug fixes.

Seems quite a bit more polished since the last time I looked at this theme. Maybe I never tried the 2.0 release.

Not my theme, just pointing it out.

Having used just about any OS you can think of... I am bit of an OS junkie. I like to see how different OS GUIs can work inside OS X.

FB Eye: Yeah I hope no one takes that the wrong way. I do appreciate the work themers are doing to advance dark themes because it will push the envelope for ShapeShifter and even other forms of themeing.

It is just that, Jet Black & NeOS are unusable on my iBook G4. The contrast of it on my LCD is just painful. I tried different desktop backgrounds and playing with ColorSync... it just killed my eyes after a while.

I'm very happy that people like DSKY are pushing NeOS to the limit though, I mean his iTunes skin got people talking about themeing iTunes again, which is awesome. I just don't get the hype on dark themes, I can't use them. Oh well.
